It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelson Scheffel of Somerset, Pennsylvania, born in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jonas C. Scheffel and Ruth Scheffel (Lichty) of Somerset; his sister Carolyn Louise Scheffel; his grandparents, Lee, Annie Scheffel, Dan and Vernie Lichty; his wife Lori Lee Putman; and his siblings, Lois Pletcher, Linda Galico (Jim), Ken Scheffel (Shannon), Dennis Scheffel (Debbie), Loretta Lindstrom (Brett) and Karen Lorraine Barron (Mark).
