He was predeceased by: his parents, George Adam Gardner and Laura Jane Wilders (Sullivan). He is survived by: his children, Barry W. Gardner II (Heather) of Hooversville, Christian S. Walters (Stephen) of Somerset and Joshua W. Gardner of Alabama; and his sisters, Deloris J. Shumaker (Abe) of Somerset, Kay F. Moravecz (Frank) of Boswell, Georgia A. Marple (George) of Friedens, Margaret L. Mayhugh (Harry) of Meyersdale and Gail O. Sipe (Robert) of Somerset. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
