It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Leaver of Slatington, Pennsylvania, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Melvan J. Leaver, Sr.; her parents, William Victor and Ruth Ostby (Denzel); her son Daniel Leaver; and her siblings, William Victor Ostby, Jr. and Carol Dean Ostby.
She is survived by: her children, Melvan J. Leaver, Jr. (Anita) of Allentown, PA, Angela Velasquez (Rene) of Madison, WI and Michael Leaver (Tammy) of Eatonville, WA; her grandchildren, Rebecca (Jon Kehly), Megan (Matt Scherzberg), Stephen Leaver (Alison), Nicole (Michael Lepley), Laura (Tyler Hakes), Joshua Leaver (Julianna), Patrick Leaver (Arieal) and Matthew Leaver; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Helen Tess and Cali; and her pet Buster.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the Kiwanis Club of Allentown Northeast Foundation, c/o the funeral home.
