Valita Mae Hayes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valita Mae Hayes of Skippack, Pennsylvania, born in Pleasantville, New York, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Col. John Wade Hayes; her parents, Gilbert Foster and Bessie Foster (Ackerman); and her sisters, Arline Sullivan and Barbara Koehler.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Lisa, Glenna, Jill, Victoria and Georgia; her children, Carol Guthridge (Gary) of North Wales, PA, Diane Hayes (Timothy Puttfarcken) of Brookeville, MD, John Hayes (Stacey) of Winston Salem, NC and Elizabeth Benefiel (Richard Meise) of Pasadena, MD; her grandchildren, Lyndsay, Amanda, Christie, Courtney, Justin, Christian, Brooke and Austin; and her siblings, Gilbert Foster, Betty Luszcz and Linda Deak. She is also survived by her husband and children.
