We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2023, at the age of 72, Nelson Zook of Shoemakersville, Pennsylvania, born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Zook and Emily Zook (Phenneger); his wife Barbara J. Zook (Stitzel); his siblings, John "Jack" Zook, Kerry Zook and Vera Werner; and his foster sisters, Carol Filler, Debra Leach and Mary Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie J. Heckman (Zook) of Shoemakersville and Pamela J. Zook of Shoemakersville; his grandchildren, Katy Heckman, Lily Wolfe and Riley Doll; his siblings, Ronald Zook (Fay) of Milan, Roy Zook Sr. (Tiayese), Kelvin Zook (Pat), Joe Zook (Sue) and Martha Stroud (Bert); and his siblings-in-law, John Werner, Chuck Filler and Charmaine Zook. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
