She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis George and Gertrude Elizabeth Monroe (Carpenter); her grandchild Alexx Guertin; her husband James E Hunt; and her brothers, Sonny (Lewis Jr) and David.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Bowen (Don) of Shaftsbury, VT, Julie Hunt-Dague (David) of Upper Strasburg, PA, Stacy Scott (Jason) of St. Augustine, FL and Amy Surdam (Steve) of White Creek, NY; her grandchildren, Kaiyla Doyle (Chris Doyle), Stephen Surdam, Tianna Reed (Tyler), Sabrina, Nathaniel Aiken, Ashley, Michaela Bowen and April Clyde; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Hailey Doyle, Sawyer Surdam-Crawford, Everleigh Surdam, Blake, Amelia and Addison Reed; and her brother Donald Monroe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital in her memory.
