She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Gouge and Dorthey Gouge; her husband William M. Smith; her sons, Daniel Smith, Jerry Smith and Paul Smith; and her siblings, Reba Devolt, Lilly Proffitt and Ob Laws.
She is survived by: her children, William Smith Jr. of Ford City, Robert Smith of Flinton, PA, Carl Smith of Worthington, Larry Smith of Kittanning, Rosalie Brumbaugh of Kittanning, Wanda Arble of Wellsville, PA and Brenda Smith of Shippensburg, PA. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
