He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Showaker and Arlene Showaker (Fickes); and his brother Ronald Showaker. He is survived by: his wife Karen A. Zullinger; his daughter Liz Wright (Kyle Hess) of Lake Junaluska, NC; his grandchild Cameron Hess; and his sisters, Judy Linton of Carlisle, Nancy Smith (Jack) of Carlisle and Linda Pretz (Ira Spills) of Pittsburgh.
