She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Huber and Blanche Huber (Musselman); her husband Robert S. Rose; her children, John David Rose and Ellen Rose; and her grandson Christian Jessen.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy L. Rose (James Poterba) of Belmont, MA, Marjorie B. Rose (Douglas Irwin) of Hanover, NH and Robert H. Rose (Maggie) of Rockwood, TN; her grandchildren, Matthew, Timothy, Meg Poterba, Dane Jessen, Ellen, Katie Irwin, Emma and John Rose; her great grandchild James Evan Poterba; and her sister Nancy Mansfield of New Bern, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial contributions to the Coy Public Library of Shippensburg or the Lemasters United Methodist Church.
