He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Stanger and Catherine Stanger (Young); his wife Theresa Ann Duboy; and his siblings, Louise Kedrick and Stephen J. Stanger.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Patrizi (Craig), Robert Stanger, Jr. (Diane), Keith Stanger (Debbie) and Michael Stanger (Martianne). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
