He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Godfrey, Jr. and Esther Godfrey (Stough); and his sister-in-law Jean Godfrey. He is survived by: his wife Darlene D. Godfrey (Altland); and his siblings, Rodger Godfrey, James E. Godfrey III (Robin), Daniel Godfrey (Kim), John Godfrey (Candace), Paul Godfrey (Kim), Arthur Godfrey (Tonya), Shirley Brenneman (Ralph), Charlotte Smith (Gene) and Kathy Yohe (Jerry). He is also survived by his 151 nieces and nephews.
