He was predeceased by: his parents, Sewell McDaniel and Clara McDaniel (Luck). He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. McDaniel (Hartman); his children, Rick (Kathleen), John, Jr., Jeffrey, Terry, Gregory (Jody) and Debra Zeigler (Scott); and his sister Edna Conley of Spotsylvania, VA.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
