He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard C. Bankert and Ruth G. Bankert (Wetzel); his stepdaughter Pamela Kay Miller; his brother Vernon Bankert; and his sister-in-law Helen Bankert.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys M. Bankert (Barnett); and his siblings, Glenn Bankert (Shirley) of Hanover, PA, Larry Bankert (Leanna) of Spring Grove, PA and Doris Utz of Hanover, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Donald's memory to St. Paul's Dubs Church Building Fund, 1958 Dubs Church Road, Hanover, PA 17331.
