He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hoover and Amy Hoover (Wagner); and his siblings, Ruth, Jean, Pearl and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his wife Opal Hoover (Bailey); his children, Charles "Chuck" (Cheryl), Wayne (Maureen), Douglas (Mary), Aaron (Debra), Barbara (Dan), Jean, Cindy, Sandra (Robert), Teresa (John) and Jeanneen (Mark); and his brothers, Earl and James. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
