He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Karnick and Sophie Karnick (Wiesynke); his siblings, Mary Krohta, Peter Karnick and Adrian Karnick; and his nephew Steven Karnick.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Clarice Karnick of South Canaan; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Alexis McDevitt, Julie Whitmore, Diane Brace, Paula Herzog, Daniel Karnick, William Karnick and Andrea Murray.
