Virginia M. Wiwel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia M. Wiwel of Scott Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Virginia leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bernard R. Wiwel; her children, Bernard Kevin (Kaye), Janice Lee Waller (Dan) and Keith Allen; her grandchildren, Samantha and Kylee Waller; and her great grandchild Selene Nova Nordin. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freyvogel Slater Funeral Directors (112 Fort Couch Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15241). A Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Parish (126 Fort Couch Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15241). A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (2900 Washington Rd, Canonsburg, PA 15317).
