It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. Billings (Sayre, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 4, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Brando Melani and Emilia Gagetti Melani; and her siblings, Joseph Melani, Irene (Vernon Zimmer), Ophelia (Raymond Sklarkowski) and Mary (Douglas Fraley).
She is survived by: her husband Ronald C. Billings; and her sister-in-law Lois Melani of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that contributions may be directed to the Valley Food Pantry, 418 Waverly St. Waverly, NY 14892 or to a charity or organization of one's choice in Rita's memory.
