It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucile Henry of Sayre, Pennsylvania, born in Binghamton, New York, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Wilson Oliver and Katie Mae Oliver (Lewis); her husband Howard "Hank" Henry; and her children-in-law, William S. Pierce and Mary Sheila Mullen Henry.
She is survived by: her children, David Henry (Linda) and Martha Anne Pierce; her granddaughter Daye Moreno (Loyd); her great grandchild Katie Gabrielle Moreno; and also Marian Stevens.
In honor of her love of animals (especially cats) and all the animal companions Lucile had throughout her life, who we believe were also waiting to greet her in heaven, please send memorial donations to Bradford County Humane Society Route 220 P.O. Box 179 Ulster, PA. As Lucile was also an avid supporter of St. Jude Children's Hospital, a memorial donation to them in her name would be welcomed.
