He is survived by: his wife Nancy Johnston; his children, Carl "Buck" Bean of North Carolina, Michael Bean, Cathy Robinson (Myles) and Carolyn Eick (Fred); his grandchildren, Kelly, Colleen, Kari, Rachel, Julie, Andrea, Jason, Lori, Cindy, Becky, Jenny and Timothy; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Bean, Stephanie Johnston and Frederick Johnston; and his friends, Tom Place, John Mann and Bill Shonewater.
