He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Jones and Lula Bixby Jones (Margaret Jones); his siblings, George Jones, Charles Bill Jones and Edna Ervay; and his son-in-law Joseph Kalinowski.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Furman; his children, Dr. Edward Jones (Kathleen) of Athens, PA, Alan Jones (Susan) of Apopka, FL, Dr. Jeffry Jones (Addy) of Lancaster, PA, Carole Kalinowski of Dunmore, PA and Jennifer Eidson (Keith) of Monroeton, PA; and his grandchildren, Laura Jones-Soehner (Gregory Soehner) of Rochester, NY, Christopher Jones (Kathleen Jones) of Athens, PA, Sarah Kemp (Matthew Kemp) of Sayre, PA, Joseph Kalinowski (Natalie Kalinowski) of Dunmore, PA, Matthew Kalinowski (Jennifer Kalinowski), Elizabeth Sample (David Sample) of Dunmore, PA, Nathan Jones (Charlene Jones) of Orlando, FL, Ian Jones of Apopka, FL, Jocelyn Jones of Apopka, FL, Adrienne Alcantara (BJ Alcantara) of Rialto, CA, Shelby Jones of Lancaster, PA, Andrew Eidson of Athens, PA, William Eidson of Monroeton, PA and Cathrine Harkness of East Smithfield, PA. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
