He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Campbell and Rosamund Rubert; his sons, Donald E. Campbell, Jr. and Stephen D. Campbell; and his sibling Shirley Daddona of Galesburg.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, Scott D. Campbell (Mary) of Johnson City, NY, Douglas L. Campbell, Sr. (Michelle) of Browns Mills, NJ and Pamela Grimm (Chad) of Oneonta, NY; his grandchildren, Douglas Campbell, Jr. (Andrea), Joseph Campbell (Lamonica), Zachery Grimm, Ashlyn Grimm and Joshua Grimm; his sisters, Linda Wandell (Claire) of Athens, PA and Sylvia; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Campbell, Logan Campbell, Saige Campbell and Caiden Campbell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
