He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Samuel and Ozie Hand (Peterson); his siblings, Julia Wilson and Joe Jullian Hand; and his half-brothers, Johnnie and Cecil Hand.
He is survived by: his spouse Joppa Lee Hand-Cornell of Florida; his children, Heather Marguerite, Frank Jason, Samuel Keith Hand, Lisa, Terri, Gus and Kelli; his sisters, Alice Lillian Hand and Juvonne Hand McDuffy; and his grandsons, Brandon, Ryan and Noah. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
