He was predeceased by: his father James W. Freehling, II; and his sister Rebecca Marie Freehling. He is survived by: his mother Roxanne Margaret McWilliams Freehling of Sarver; his daughter Ashley Gifford (Justin) of Butler; his brother James W. Freehling, III of Saxonburg; and his granddaughter Riley Jane Muir.
