He was predeceased by: his parents, George H Fox and Charlene A. Fox (Hicks); and his grandsons, Alexander John and Xavier Michael. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Fox (Brzezinski); his child Tracy L Cummings (Shawn); his grandchildren, Julia and Colin; his son Michael J Fox (Tracey) of McCandless; his grandson Jackson; his siblings, Beatrice "Betsy" Wallace (Ken) and Terry L Fox (Susan); his brother-in-law Tom Brzezinski, Jr.; and also Linda Brzezinski.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions in John's memory be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society of Pittsburgh.
