She was predeceased by: her parents, Denise Trout Gray Jenniches and Gary Gray. She is survived by: her stepfather Joseph Jenniches; her brother Jacob C. Gray; and her son Nathan J. Custer.

Her final act was to give the gift of life through organ donation.
