He was predeceased by: his parent Harry Adams; his wife Betty Bortz Adams; and his brother Harry Adams. He is survived by: his parent Carrie Johns Adams; his children, Richard "Rick" Adams (Tracy), Jodi Mainville of Lake Havasu, Ranee Claxton (Richard) of Lake Havasu, Kim Adams of Middleburg Heights and Janel Shearer (Tom) of Slickville; his grandchildren, Michael Adams, Joshua Claxton, Stephanie Robertson (Nolan), Nickolas Sivillo, Cherish Risinger (Josh), Ashley Shearer and Gage Shearer; his great grandchildren, Talon Risinger, Carson Risinger and Mia Shearer; and his sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Seger of Saltsburg and Faye Fletcher (Chuck) of Saltsburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
