With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Leroy Long of Saltsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Spangler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 30, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Paul and Geraldine Long (McQueeney); his son Lonnie; his siblings, Leonard and Louella Powell; and his half-brother Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Janette; his children, Laurie (Butch), N. C., Gilly Long (Crystal) of San Antonio, TX, Lori Hulland of Peoria, AZ, Harold Minerd (Natalie) of Killeen, TX, Anthony Minerd, Christopher Minerd of Fairchance, PA and William Minerd (Janice) of Robinson, PA; and his sister Linda Gardner (Pine Flats).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Rte. 119N, Indiana, PA 15701 to assist with funeral expenses.
