He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Catania and Santa DeGrazia Catania; his wife Jean Verona Catania; his son Charles Salvatore Catania; his grandson Paul; his son-in-law Richard Cocovich; and his sisters, Mary Currieri, Sadie Cicala, Lucy Previtt, Frances Ashbaugh and Rose Abate.
He is survived by: his children, Charla Rots (Paul) of Florida, Andrea Cocovich of South Carolina and Michol Catania of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Richard Cocovich, Jennifer Demor and Michol Cocovich of Pa; his great grandchildren, Marisa Demor of Ca, Vincent Demor of Fl and Alessandro Cocovich of Pa; and his sister Rita Pendylshok. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
