He was predeceased by: his father Wilfred Louis Vogt; and his stepfather Carl Hagy. He is survived by: his mother Audrey Ann Smith Hagy; his son Christopher Vogt McLaughlin (Miranda) of Columbus, Ohio; his siblings, Terri Arnink (Larry), Debbie Mudd, Kim Bullaro (John) and Jeff Vogt (Karen); his stepbrother Scott Hagy; his aunt Mary Ann Smith; and his cousin Mary Grace Young (Jay). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
