It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford E. Porter of Saegertown, Pennsylvania, born in Meadville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Porter and Anna Stein Porter; his former wife Helen Washnock March; his siblings, Rodney, Donald Porter and Arlene Porter Bowes; and his son-in-law John Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Patricia Turner of Cambridge Springs and David Porter (Maria) of Cambridge Springs; his stepsons, James Furry, Jr. (Debbie) of Guys Mills and Thomas Furry (Angela) of Meadville; and his grandchildren, John Turner, Jr. (Valerie), Jason Turner (Tonya) and Tricia Kurt (Kevin). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Thursday, August 27th from 4 to 6 p. m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE with a Scripture Prayer service at 6:00 p. m. Due to Covid-19, all guests are required to wear masks.
