He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sorger and Dorothy Sorger (Friedrich); his former wife Shirley E. Steiner of September; his son Arthur Sorger; and his siblings, Eugene Sorger, John Sorger and Joyce Adsit.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Susan Morreale (Dana) of Saegertown, Debbie Barner and Cynthia Buxton (James) of Saegertown; his grandchildren, William "Billy" Beatty, Dustin Barner, Jarrod Buxton and Jordan Buxton; and his great grandchildren, Dylan and Colin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
