She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Trayter and Alice Trayter (Mellinger); her son Russell L. Byers Jr.; and her brother Arthur W. "Artie" Trayter. She is survived by: her husband Russell L. Byers; her daughter Tammy Hedegus (Richard); her grandchildren, Amanda King (Michael), Richard Hegegus Jr. and Jessica; her great grandchildren, Gage Hegedus and Evelyn King; her siblings, Joanne Moore (Charlie), Delmer "Sonny" Trayter (Frances), John Trayter (Linda), Margie Wood, Edward Trayter (Cyndi), Donna Dyson (Billie), Ronald Trayter (Sue) and David Trayter (Mary Beth); and her sister-in-law Joni Trayter (Kutska). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
