Concepcion S. Garcia Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Concepcion S. Garcia (Russell, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 9, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Damaso Sarmiento and Concepcion Cabrera Sarmiento; and her siblings, Luis, Julian, Damaso Sarmiento and Matilde Sarmiento.
She is survived by: her husband Jorge E. Garcia; her daughters, Doris M. Hale (Jim) of Frewsburg, NY and Maria C. Cholewinski of Branford, CT; her grandchildren, Nick (Brittany), Andrew Hale (Joni), Kristin Kaye (Steve) and Rachel Cholewinski; her great grandchildren, Huxley, Lennox Hale, Emilia and Cecily Kaye; and her siblings, Alvaro Sarmiento of Bogota, Colombia, Lilia Sarmiento of Bogota, Colombia Cifuentes and Leonor Cifuentes (Luis) of Gainesville, VA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to place a memorial may do so to the Holy Redeemer Church Building Fund, or to the Warren Chapter of the Alzheimer's Foundation.
