He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Skirchak and Anna Hrynda Skirchak; his former wife Cora Sowers Shirchak; his wife Kathleen Kitty Cooper Skirchak; and his siblings, Mary, Pearl, Annie, Helen, Anna, Eva, Catherine, Nancy, Tillie Dulak, Charlie, Andy, Steve and Nick.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon (Garry Miller), Ohioville and Samuel Skirchak, Jr. (Diana O'Riley); his stepchildren, Anna M., Leo Javens, Kathleen Stuck (Mike), Rudolph R. Campagna of Beaver Falls, John M. of Beaver Falls, Cynthia Wilson of Beaver Falls and Toby Zuraski of Beaver Falls; and his sister Josephine Martin. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
