He is survived by: his parents, Vicki Platko and Michael Platko; his daughter Bella; his brother Stephen M. Valent (Jessica); his grandparents, Norma and Steve P. Valent; and his close friend Matt Bittenbender (Jennifer). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
