He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Zellefrow Leopardi; his parents, Thomas Leopardi and Laura Leopardi; and his siblings, Sam Leopardi, Anna Marie Caputo, Rose D'Alessandro and Joann Millie.

He is survived by: his sons, Dominick "Buddy" and Jeffrey; his daughters-in-law, Debi and Karen; his grandchildren, Derek Leopardi, Dominique Pabon, Nicole and Daniela Leopardi; and his great grandchildren, Emilia, Dominick Leopardi, Javier and Lucia Pabon.
