With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert William McCandless of Renfrew, Pennsylvania, born in Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 4, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard E. McCandless, Sr. and Stella Mae McCandless (Measel); his brother Gary David McCandless; and his brothers-in-law, William Neill, Sr., Robert Kline, Sr. and Larry "Lee" Kline (Mollie Kline).

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann McCandless (Kline); his son Robert W. McCandless II (Pamela); his grandson Robert William McCandless III; his siblings, Howard E. McCandless Jr. (Maryann) of Butler, PA, Ronald R. McCandless of Butler, PA, Twila Stewart (Donald) of Huntersville, NC and Judy Neill of Butler, PA; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Kline of Butler, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 State guidelines, visitors are required to supply their own and to wear a facial covering along with maintaining social distancing.
