He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis J., Sr. and Elizabeth Matyas (Lebitz); and his siblings, James Matyas, John Matyas and Susan Matyas.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Matyas (Tighe); his children, Keith Matyas (Jennifer) of Tewksbury, NJ, Jake Matyas (Lisa) of Winnetka, IL and Beth Wolfmayer (John) of Sunset Beach, NC; and his stepchildren, John McDonald (Brandi) of Jerseytown, Joseph McDonald (Kristen) of Mendham, NJ, Daniel McDonald (Victoria) of Far Hills, NJ and Colleen McDonald of White Township, NJ. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.
