He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Gale Pheder; his parents, Victor Pheder and Nellie Pheder (Juzwik); his stepchildren, Toni Hansen (Geoff), Joseph Dupuis (Janna Guerrero), John Kohlepp and Matthew Kohlepp; his sister Patricia Raggi; his niece Donna; his nephews, Ken and Michael; and his grandchildren, Emma, Andrew, Sofia and Sydney.
