It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Ball of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, born in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Ball, (Truskowsky) and Victor Ball, Sr.; and his brother Victor. He is survived by: his wife Susan Ball (Stitzer); his children, Vikki (Craig Buffington) of Pottsville and Joshua (Allison); his grandchildren, Brody, Sonni Ball and Georgia Buffington; his sisters, Betsy Day of Mahanoy City, Lucille (John Sullivan) of Mahanoy City, Michele (Jere Haldeman) of Marmora, NJ and Mary Wohnhaas of Colorado; and his brother-in-law Mark Stitzer.

Donations may be made in Georges name to the Mahanoy City Social Club and the Mahanoy City Historical Society.
