She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominic Chale and Catherine Chale (Mash); her husband Pasquale A. Romano; and her siblings, Joseph Chale and Mary Ross.
She is survived by: her children, David Romano (Donna) of Plymouth Meeting, PA and Joanne D'Alessandro (Peter) of Plymouth Meeting, PA; her grandchildren, Anthony (Jacqueline), Sean (Cassandra), Mary Romano, Maria Starr (Craig) and Angela D'Alessandro (Francesco); and her great grandchildren, Lily, Ellie Romano, Henry and Grant Starr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rita's memory to Holy Saviour Parish, 407 East Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401.
