He was predeceased by: his parent Calegero Caparo; his stepparent Daniel Santomenno; his spouse Anna Caparo (DeGideo); his son Harry, Jr.; his siblings, Joseph, Frank and Lillian Piacitelli; and his friend Ann Monaco.

He is survived by: his parent Mary Caparo (Tuturice); his children, Charles Caparo (Diane) and Mary Ann Coupe (David); his daughter-in-law Kathleen (Harry); his grandchildren, Harry Daniel (Tina), Lisa (Gaetano), Amy (Peter), Damon (Elizabeth) and Chad; his great grandchildren, Gaetano, Taylor, Samantha, Nikolette and Sophia; his sister Angela Caracausa; and his sister-in-law Lucy Caparo (Joseph).
