It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanore (Meldaves) A. Bednar of Plains Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 12, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Meldaves and Anna Meldaves (Akalis); her husband Peter Bednar; her daughter Lisa Marie Bednar; her grandson Kevin Biniek, Jr.; and her sisters, Helen Johnson and Rose Chirinko.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Bednar; and her grandson Nicholas Biniek of Plains. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Those attending the visitation and/or funeral, we ask that you be brief when paying your respects, please follow the practice of social distancing, and masks are required at all times at the funeral home and the cemetery.
