It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Rose Swortz of Plains Township, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 15, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Reh and Helen German Reh; her husband Michael J. Swortz; her daughter-in-law Gloria Swortz; and her siblings, William Reh, Frances Park, Isabel Skoronski and Florence Dorang.

She is survived by: her children, Susan M. Baker (Carl) and Michael J. Swortz, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
