He was predeceased by: his son William Gaffney, Jr. (Barbara); his grandchildren, Kelly and Johanna Gaffney; his siblings, Michael Gaffney, Katherine Kervalis and Jean Stacey; his son Patrick Gaffney; and his siblings, Anne Gaffney, Joseph, Martin Gaffney and Mary Grace Pineno.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family. (Please be aware that CDC guidelines will be in place with masks and social distancing required.).
