It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Courtney Nicole Wood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Khalani Anne Wood; her grandparents, Nancy Gonos, Margaret and Claude, Sr.; and her uncle Curt Wood.
She is survived by: her parents, Rebecca Ann Franco (Gonos) and Albert "Fred" Wood of New Stanton; her grandfather Michael Gonos, Jr. of Indiana; her siblings, Brittany Shields (John) of Indiana, Danielle Kelley (Jonathan) of Pittsburgh, Austin Wood (Felicia), Alexis Wood, Bracen Wood and Elizabeth Wood (Crystal Wood) of West Newton; her godson Mylo; her pets, Fat Fat and Valentino; her close friend Sabrina; and her daughter Anais. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home (500 Ben Franklin Rd S, Indiana, PA 15701). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
