She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Roosevelt Sweed, Sr. and Mary Christina Mooney (Smith); her husband Archie McClain Hynd; and her siblings, Francis William Mooney, Lewis Earl Sweed and Sara Elizabeth Sweed.
She is survived by: her siblings, Franklin Sweed of La Jose, Vincent Sweed (Judy) of Dubois, Jane Huber (James) of Chester Hill and Barbara Czar of Conneaut Lake; her children, Jess Gregory III of Winburne, Kim Klingler (Dean) of Bigler and Paul Gregory of Volcano; her stepchildren, Thomas Hynd (Penny) of Osceola Mills, Jenny Sankey of Byrnedale and Donald Hynd of Osceola Mills; and her daughter Dorthy Klingler. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous other extended family.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held at later date where her cremains will be laid to rest at the Summit Hill Cemetery, RD Morrisdale, alongside her late husband, Archie.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Clearfield Children's Aid Society.
