He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Hicks, Sr. and Elizabeth O. Hicks (Rhodes); and his grandson Damian Alexander Gormont. He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Hicks (Tina) of Philipsburg, Michele M. Fisher (John) of Catonsville, Maryland, Mark A. Hicks (Lisa) of Somerset and Melissa A. Gormont (Greg) of Bellwood; his grandchildren, Jessica, Nathan, Andrew, Joseph, Alissa, Jocelyn, Ian, Daniel, Samuel and Rachel; his great grandchildren, Aylyn, Piper, Gracie and Wyatt; and his brother Edward L. Hicks of Osceola Mills.
