He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. Frederick Shannon and Mary LaRue Shannon (Kephart); his sisters, Rosemary Shannon of Brisbin and Kathleen Hummel (Robert) of Morrisdale; his nephew John Gallaher (Barb); and his nieces, Amy Simpson (Chuck) and Melissa Walk (Perry). He was also cherished by one great nephew and three great nieces.
