He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred E. Gingrich (Royer); and his sister Neda Gingrich. He is survived by: his children, Robert Gingrich (Nancy), Timothy Gingrich (Stephanie), Cynthia Rogers (Larry) and Lynda Speicher (Daniel); and his siblings, Arthur Gingrich and Miriam Runkle. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the Palmyra Church of the Brethren.
